The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) further reported that several civilians were injured as a result of the attack.
On Tuesday, the self-styled Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched an attack on a Damascus neighborhood called Mezzeh, the assault significantly damaged a residential building in the area.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) further reported that several civilians were injured as a result of the attack.
The agency released images of the site of impact, where a group of ambulances went, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that “violent explosions occurred in Damascus” and that the Syrian air defenses were activated to intercept “targets in the sky” of the Syrian capital.
Witnesses of the attack stated that the target was a floor in the Mezzeh 14 building and that the action left “many wounded” who were treated by emergency teams, while Syrian Civil Defense sources have indicated that operations to rescue people from under the rubble have begun.
This is not the first attack in the Mezzeh area, as it should be recalled that three civilians were killed in another attack on a residential building as well.
The day before that attack, another attack on Mezzeh killed a Syrian state television journalist named Safaa Ahmed and two other civilians.
