Israel Bombs Nuseirat Refugee Camp in Gaza

For about 55 days, Israel has maintained a siege on the cities of Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun.
On Thursday, new attacks by Israeli occupation forces killed at least 15 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Seven of the victims were reported in the northern part of the Nuseirat refugee camp, where another Israeli attack on a food distribution center in a new area housing displaced people in the west left at least four injured, who were taken to Al Awada hospital.

In the same area, Al Jazeera journalist Talal Al Arouqui was injured following an attack on an ambulance, reported Quds News Network. According to figures from enclave authorities, at least 190 journalists have been killed since October 7, 2023.
The southern part of the enclave was also bombarded, killing four people near the displaced persons’ camp in the city of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza.
In Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, two houses were bombed by Israel, leaving at least four people dead and five others injured. Among the victims was a pregnant woman, reported the WAFA news agency.
In the early hours of Thursday, Israeli occupation forces also raided Awni al-Harthani School in Beit Lahia. The number of casualties remains unknown.
For about 55 days, Israel has maintained a siege on the cities of Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun, all in the far north of the enclave, denying access to humanitarian aid.
On Wednesday, the Gaza-based Health Ministry reported that Israeli occupation forces killed 33 Palestinians and injured 134 others, including 23 fatalities in bombings targeting two schools sheltering displaced persons in Gaza City.
Israel launched an intense bombing campaign in northern Gaza on October 5, followed by a ground incursion on October 6, which have resulted in the deaths of over 2,300 Palestinians. Since October 7, 2023, however, the Zionist army has killed nearly 44,300 Palestinians.
