Israel Grants Increased Authority to Zionist Settlers for Violent Acts in the West Bank

Settlers have fired on Palestinian vehicles, searched cars, and used violence against West Bank residents.
On Friday, groups of armed Zionist settlers blocked and established an armed point at the entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, in the northern West Bank.

All this is done under the cover of the so-called Israel Defense Forces, which have given the green light to the organization of settlers in armed groups.
An example of this was last Monday morning when Zionist Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, who announced the creation of armed intervention detachments, located in refugee camps and Israeli settlements in the West Bank area.
According to local sources, these detachments would consist of settlers and would have the power to open fire on any Hamas “militia” they encounter. These armed groups are already stationed in areas such as Jenin.
Another power given to the Investment detachments is to make arbitrary arrests, causing the current number of prisoners, which is not accurate given the number of missing persons, to increase considerably.
It should be recalled that since 7 October 545 Palestinians have died in the West Bank in incidents involving armed Israeli soldiers and settlers, who have increased their attacks on the local population to the point where they receive international sanctions from their allies like the United States.
