Taking into account the number of victims from the latest massacre, Zionist forces have killed 43,922 Palestinians and injured 103,898 people since October 2023.

On Sunday morning, Israeli occupation forces killed 72 Palestinians in airstrikes targeting several buildings in Beit Lahia, a northern Gaza town that remains under siege and has been bombed 10 times over the past six weeks.

Beit Lahia has been the site of two of the deadliest bombings in the past month, a result of the ongoing aerial bombardment campaign and ground incursion that the Israeli occupation army has carried out there, as well as in Jabalia and Beit Hanoun, since October 5.

Previously, on October 20, another bombing described by Israeli forces as “precise” killed 73 people in Beit Lahia. A few days later, on October 29, another airstrike on a five-story building claimed the lives of 93 Gazans, according to health authorities.

For over six weeks, the Zionist army has maintained a military blockade in northern Gaza, causing more than 2,000 deaths and drastically worsening the already dire living conditions in the area by severely limiting access to humanitarian aid.

On Monday, the Palestinian Civil Defense (PCD) reported that 85 of its workers have died, 301 have been injured, and 20 remain detained since October 2023.

Regarding infrastructure and rescue equipment, the PCD stated that 14 of its facilities were destroyed and 56 vehicles (water tankers, fire trucks, ambulances, and administrative vehicles) were rendered inoperable. These damages are estimated to have caused losses valued at US$1.3 million.

Additionally, the Zionist army has besieged and attacked the three operational hospitals in northern Gaza: Kamal Adwan, Al Awda, and the Indonesian Hospital, the latter of which has been forced to cease operations.

“We are without electricity, with only four hours of generator operation and three hours using batteries; the rest of the day we have no power,” the Al Awda Hospital Director Mohammed Salha said, adding that his institution has gone 40 days without receiving a fuel shipment to run the generators.

WAFA also reported a new bombing in Beit Lahia, though no victims have yet been identified. In the southern part of the Gaza Strip, an Israeli attack on a humanitarian zone housing most of Gaza’s displaced population killed a couple and their two children and severely injured another daughter of the family.
