Israel Orders Evacuation From Gaza City to Southern Shelters

The Israeli army orders all Palestinian civilians to leave Gaza City while attacking the UNRWA headquarters, one day after at least 27 people were killed and 53 injured in an Israeli attack on a school housing displaced civilians in Khan Younis.

The aid group Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has warned of a “critical” shortage of medical supplies in Gaza, without resupply for more than two months as the Israeli war continues.
“MSF faces a critical shortage of many things like gauze, gloves… things like that,” said pediatrician Amber Alayyan.
The aid group warned last week in a statement that it had been unable to bring any medical supplies to Gaza since late April and called on Israel to open more crossing points into the territory.
“We are seeing people injured in bombings, shootings and drone strikes,” Alayyan said.
“MSF staff have switched to changing wound dressings every four days instead of the usual two to save on supplies,” he added.
MSF now runs the risk of running out of vital medications such as anesthetics needed for surgeries.
“If we keep going like this… we won’t be able to operate. We won’t operate without anesthesia,” Alayyan said.
