On Saturday, the Houthi rebels claimed the launching of a ballistic missile on the Israeli main airport in response of the assassination of Lebanon’s resistance group Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and the repeated Zionist aggression on civilian people on Beirut.
At least four people were killed and 40 others injured, according to a preliminary casualty report by the Huthi Health Ministry spokesman, Anees al-Asbahi, some of whom are seriously wounded, according to the official.
In a statement the Israeli military said of dozens of aircraft, including fighter jets, attacked power plants and sea port facilities at the Ras Issa and Hodeidah ports as residents and local media report the air raids caused power outages in most parts of Hodeidah.
Meanwhile, the Houthis media office said they had taken precautionary measures ahead of the strikes, emptying oil storages in the ports. Nasruddin Ammer, deputy director of the Houthi media office said in a post on X that the strikes won’t stop the rebels’ attacks on shipping routes and on Israel.
The Israeli recent aggression on Yemen and Lebanon have heightening fears of a wider regional conflagration spreaded to all the Mid East as the killed figures in the Gaza genocide rises to 41,595 after almost a year of continuous military siege.
