So far, Zionist bombings have injured 1,860 people and killed 564 people, including 50 children and 94 women.

On Tuesday, the Israeli army continued to bomb residential areas in Lebanon, leaving at least 6 people dead and 25 wounded in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

TV footage showed smoke rising from the targeted, densely populated Ghobeiry neighbourhood of Dahieh, civil defense teams removing the rubble, and ambulances transporting the casualties to hospitals.

The latest airstrike took place as Israel’s military chief Herzi Halevi vowed earlier in the day to intensify Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon.

On the previous day, Zionist bombings injured 1,835 people and killed 558 people, including 50 children and 94 women. Despite international condemnation, Israeli Primer Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the offensive against Lebanon will continue.

“We will continue to strike Hezbollah. And I say to the people of Lebanon: our war is not against you, it is against Hezbollah,” he said, resorting to the usual discursive strategy to justify attacks on Lebanese territory.

“I told you yesterday to evacuate the houses where there is a missile in the living room and a rocket in the garage. Whoever has a missile in his living room and a rocket in his garage will be left homeless,” Netanyahu threatened, seeking to imply that the bombed residences had no civilian uses.

Since Oct. 8, 2023, the Zionist army has been intensifying its attacks across the Lebanese border, thus increasing the chances that a larger-scale regional conflict could break out at any moment.
