Israeli Airstrike Near Beirut Hospital Claims Four Lives, Including a Child

The local channel Al-Jadeed reported that more than 25 ambulances from the Lebanese Red Cross and Civil Defense teams were mobilized to the site to assist those affected.

At least four people, including a child, lost their lives and another 27 were injured in an Israeli airstrike that occurred near the Rafik Hariri University Hospital in the Jnah area, south of Beirut, according to Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health.
The local channel Al-Jadeed reported that more than 25 ambulances from the Lebanese Red Cross and Civil Defense teams were mobilized to the site to assist those affected.
The search for victims trapped under the rubble continues, while many residents have been forced to leave their homes in search of safe shelter.
In addition to the attack near the hospital, Israeli fighter jets carried out over 12 bombings in various areas of southern Beirut, including Haret Hreik, Burj Barajneh, and al Hadath.
An attack was also reported in Ouzai, a densely populated area near the airport.
This recent episode is part of a series of attacks that have resulted in a significant number of casualties and have intensified the humanitarian crisis in the region.
At least 2,483 people have died in Lebanon and more than 11,600 have been injured in Israeli attacks since October 2023.
