At least 20 Palestinians, including six children, have been killed in a recent Israeli bombing of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the attacks targeted a house belonging to the al-Madi family, causing significant damage to neighboring houses in Block C of the camp.

Civil Defense spokesman Mahmud Basal stated that rescue teams have recovered several bodies and treated a large number of wounded after the attack, which occurred around 20:30 local time (18:30 GMT).

The situation is particularly critical in northern Gaza, where Civil Defense teams have been unable to operate for more than 60 days because of the siege imposed by Israel.

This new attack adds to a series of recent bombings in Nuseirat, where an earlier strike killed five people, including four children. The international community continues to express concern over the increasing violence and the high number of civilians affected by the conflict.
