Israeli airstrikes killed at least ten Palestinians and injured several others Saturday evening, amid ongoing attacks across central Gaza, according to local sources and medical officials.
Correspondents from WAFA news agency reported that five civilians lost their lives when Israeli forces bombed a gathering near the Shomer factory, located north of the refugee camp.
In a separate incident, a Palestinian man identified as Abd al-Rahman Abu Kmeil was killed in an Israeli strike targeting the Al-Zahraa area, northwest of the Nuseirat refugee camp. His body was later transferred to Al-Awda Hospital.
Meanwhile, four more Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in drone strikes carried out by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Al-Zawaida, also situated in central Gaza.
Medical sources confirmed that the total number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since the early hours of Saturday has climbed to 36.
Earlier in the day, five civilians were killed and others injured in two separate Israeli strikes. One airstrike targeted a café in Deir el-Balah, killing four people and wounding several others, while another artillery attack on a group of civilians northwest of Nuseirat led to one fatality.
The ongoing Israeli aggression, which began in October 2023, has so far resulted in at least 51,495 documented Palestinian deaths, with over 117,524 injured. Thousands remain missing, believed to be trapped beneath rubble, while emergency teams struggle to reach them amid continued bombardments.
Despite repeated calls by the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and a binding directive from the International Court of Justice to prevent genocide and ensure humanitarian relief, Israel’s military campaign against Gaza shows no signs of abating.
