Israeli Attack on School in Southern Gaza Leaves Over 20 Dead

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that the wounded are moving to two local hospitals.
The Palestinian authorities reported on Tuesday that more than 20 people were killed and dozens injured in an attack by the Israeli occupying forces on an educational centre serving as a refuge in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Khan Younis is home to many displaced by the land incursion of Rafah, the southernmost city in the Gaza Strip, where Israeli troops entered in early May.
The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that after the attack on the school in the area of Abasan, east of Khan Younis, its teams transport the wounded to two local hospitals, although it did not specify the number of dead or injured.
«This massacre occurred after the occupation committed another six in the central camps, which raised the number of martyrs to 60 during the last hours», the authorities also assured that the majority of the victims are women and children.
Since 7 October, Israel has killed at least 38,243 people and injured 88,033, the vast majority of them women and children.
The Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip reported that in the last 24 hours the Israeli occupying forces committed three massacres against families, killing 50 people and injuring 130.
