The Israeli action is a new ‘aggression against all media institutions,’ Hezbollah denounced.

On Tuesday, the Lebanese Shiite resistance movement Hezbollah denounced that the Israeli bombing in the Dahye suburbs of Beirut hit the headquarters of Al Sirat television.

“Hezbollah condemns the barbaric and destructive bombing of the building of the religious and cultural channel Al Sirat. We express our full solidarity with the institution, its management and its staff,” Hezbollah stated.

The Shiite movement denied the “false claims of the Zionist enemy about the presence of weapons or weapons depots” in the Dahye residential buildings and at the headquarters of the television channel.

The Israeli bombing is a new “aggression against all media institutions,” Hezbollah denounced, recalling the deaths of journalists in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon since the beginning of the war almost a year ago.

On Tuesday, the Zionist army mobilized four reserve brigades, each consisting of several thousand soldiers, into southern Lebanon, where it has been attempting to mount a ground attack.

Military spokesman Daniel Hagari also revealed that Israeli troops have been carrying out some 70 cross-border raids into Lebanese territory since October 2023. These operations are said to be aimed at destroying tunnels and weapons belonging to the resistance movement.

Last week Israel began an intense bombing campaign in Lebanon. On Monday evening, the Zionist state announced that its Israeli soldiers were on Lebanese territory, allegedly carrying out “limited, localized and targeted raids” against Hezbollah.
