The Israeli aggression targeted agricultural land in Umm al-Tut, near the de facto border between the two countries, killing three children, bringing to five the number of civilians killed this Tuesday in Israeli actions against Lebanon.
A few hours earlier, two Syrian youths had been killed by an Israeli drone bombardment of a motorcycle travelling along a road between the towns of Kfar Tibnit and Khardali, also in southern Lebanon.
ANN indicated that the drone fired a missile at the motorcycle, in which two people were travelling, and shortly afterwards re-fired a second shell as neighbours approached to inspect the vehicle.
The Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah responded to that action by launching “dozens” of rockets at the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona.
The Jewish State and Hezbollah are locked in an intense crossfire since 8 October, a day after the outbreak of the war in Gaza, according to the resistance, the action in fact takes place in support of Palestine
The clashes, which are concentrated mainly in the border areas, are the most intense between the parties since the war they waged in the summer of 2006, which is now 18 years old.
