An Israeli bombing on Sunday against a school of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) located in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza claimed the lives of at least 15 people, according to the Government of the Gaza Strip.

The attack also left 80 injured, who, according to local Arab media, were taken to the Al Awda hospital in Nuseirat.
The UNRWA school is home to hundreds of displaced people who have been sheltering from the fighting perpetrated by Israel against the Gazan territory since 7 October.
Israel justified this new massacre saying that the Abu Arban school served as a hideout and operating infrastructure from which attacks against the Zionist armed forces were planned and carried out.
Adnan Abu Hasna, UNRWA media advisor said in a statement that no one contacted the UN Agency reporting the presence of militia or wanted persons inside the school, and remembered that UNRWA always provides Israel of its schools localization.
Videos broadcast on Palestinian channels show hundreds of people running through the schoolyard, some carrying wounded, while dozens of civilians in the affected area try to dig up those trapped in the rubble, among them a child.
Since the war began, a total of 38,584 Palestinians have lost their lives in Gaza, the majority of them women and children, and 88,881 others were injured, not including the thousands of people who remain under rubble throughout the devastated enclave.
