According to local media, the Israeli regulars deliberately set fire to the lands where they were planted with fruit trees in the occupied part.
Minutes later the fire moved to the open area where the villagers mobilized to prevent the spread of the fire and prevent it from damaging their apple and olive crops.
It should be recalled that, during 2021, Israeli forces set fire to the forests of Al-Quneitra province in the Syrian Golan Heights.
Israel occupied the Golan after the so-called Six-Day War in 1967 and incorporated that territory into its legal system in 1981, which was rejected by the international community.
Damascus repeatedly affirms that the Golan is an inseparable part of Syria, and its recovery by all means guaranteed by international law will remain a priority.
Syria denounced the practices of Israeli forces seeking to take their land and property from Syrians.
