Israeli Parliament Denies the Establishment of a Palestinian State

Hamas says it will continue its struggle to thwart plans for displacement and destruction of the Palestinian national identity.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) rejected the resolution adopted by the Israeli Parliament that denies the establishment of an independent Palestinian State and affirmed that it is a confirmation of Tel Aviv’s policy of denying the rights of that people.

“The Knesset’s decision not to allow the establishment of a Palestinian state is invalid and issued by an occupying side that has no legitimacy on Palestinian land,” the entity declared.

In that sense, he assured that the Palestinian people “will continue their resistance, struggle and legitimate defense of their existence in the face of the fascist war of extermination undertaken by the Zionist terrorist government”.

Just as they will advance “their path to thwart all plans for displacement and destruction of the Palestinian national identity”.

Hamas also demanded serious international action to stop these criminal decisions and procedures, and to allow the Palestinian people access to all their rights.

According to the movement, this decision is a message of defiance to the international community and contempt for the resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly that supported the accession of Palestine as a full member of the United Nations.

For its part, the Palestinian Presidency noted that “no peace or security will be achieved for anyone without the establishment of a Palestinian State in accordance with international legitimacy”.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Naser Kanani strongly condemned the resolution adopted by the Israeli Parliament, stating that “Israel’s apartheid regime is not only a threat to the Palestinian nation, but a threat to international peace and security”.

He also indicated that Israel’s false resolution, after nine months of war crimes and continued genocide of Palestinians by the Zionist terrorist army, has once again shown the entire world the racist nature of the usurping regime.
