The relentless Israeli campaign of violence in Gaza claimed the lives of four Palestinians in the early hours of Friday, as the genocidal aggression enters its sixteenth month amid the blatant impunity with which the Israeli army operates.

Three of the victims succumbed to injuries sustained in previous Israeli airstrikes, confirming a pattern of indiscriminate brutality against the civilian population.

According to reports from Palestinian Civil Defense teams, rescuers recovered one body and retrieved two others after Israeli forces attacked civilians near Al-Shafii Mosque, close to the Tayba Towers in western Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

In a separate incident, a woman died from injuries inflicted during an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential apartment near Al-Amal Hospital, also in western Khan Younis. A young man also succumbed to wounds caused by an Israeli attack in the al-Mawasi area of the same city.

Another chilling tragedy unfolded when a woman died from injuries sustained days earlier during an Israeli airstrike that destroyed a tent belonging to a displaced family in Khan Younis. This mother joins the loss of her three children, who were killed in the same attack, exemplifying the ruthless nature of assaults on Palestinian families. Additionally, a young man died due to injuries from a prior Israeli bombing east of Rafah, southern Gaza.

The nightmare does not end there. A child, Abdulrahman Nabhan, tragically lost his life at the Al-Mufti school shelter in the Nusairat refugee camp in central Gaza. The boy suffered third-degree burns after falling into a boiling pot during an Israeli raid while food was being distributed. Abdulrahman had already been injured four days earlier when the same shelter was targeted by Israeli airstrikes—a manifestation of cruelty that even pursues children in places meant to be safe.

Since October 2023, Israel’s relentless aggression against Gaza has resulted in at least 46,006 documented Palestinian deaths and over 109,378 injuries. Fears persist that thousands more victims remain trapped under rubble, unreachable for emergency and civil defense teams due to ongoing Israeli attacks.

Israel’s genocidal strikes continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice demanding measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. The lack of response to these international demands underscores the urgent need for effective action to halt the massacre and hold perpetrators accountable.
