The recent incursion by the Israeli army into the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza has been described by many as a crime against humanity.

This attack, which occurred on December 27, 2024, resulted in the deaths of numerous people, including medical personnel, and left many trapped in inhuman conditions.

The Kamal Adwan Hospital, the last medical center operating in the region, was besieged and eventually raided by Israeli forces.

Eyewitnesses reported that soldiers forced women to remove their veils under threat of arms and sexually abused young people.

 A young woman who tried to resist was brutally beaten. In addition, executions of unarmed patients and detainees were reported, as well as the use of explosive robots in areas near the hospital.

 The situation is desperate; hospitals have become “death traps” for civilians, according to international agencies.

This attack not only highlights the extreme violence in the region but also raises serious questions about respect for international humanitarian law and the protection of human rights in conflict situations.
