Laos, Uzbekistan and Türkiye Congratulate President Nicolás Maduro on His Electoral Victory

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, the Turkish Republic, Laos and Uzbekistan confirm the consolidation of bilateral relations.

Several leaders and countries congratulated President Nicolás Maduro on the result of the elections of July 28, while the Venezuelan government thanked the consolidation of bilateral relations between both countries.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, the Republic of Turkey, Laos and Uzbekistan issued their greetings and confirmation to consolidate bilateral relations.

Through a call from the president of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish leader has transmitted a message of congratulations to all the Venezuelan people, after the elections on Sunday 28 July.

According to the statement of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, “President Erdogan was pleased with the reports received from election monitors who attended all phases of the electoral process and supported the efforts undertaken before the Supreme Court of Justice, as a constitutional body which will confirm the results announced by the National Electoral Council”.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that the Turkish president also recognized the commitment of the Bolivarian government in the struggle for the Palestinian cause, and reaffirmed the ties of brotherhood and cooperation.

Meanwhile, following the congratulations of the President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Thongloun Sisoulith, the Foreign Ministry «Thanks for your message of good wishes and congratulations to the head of state Nicolás Maduro, after his victory for a new six-year term».

“Cooperation between our peoples will remain a fundamental priority,” said Chancellor Yvan Gil.

The Government of Uzbekistan also affirmed its intention to strengthen bilateral cooperation for this new six-year period under Nicolás Maduro. Meanwhile, the Venezuelan head of state stressed that Venezuela thanks the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, for his recognition of the democratic process experienced by Venezuelans and Venezuelans on 28 July.

“We are guarantors of the sovereignty of the peoples of the new world,” he said.
