‘We clearly tell the Israeli enemy that our support for Gaza will not cease until the war there ends,’ Nasrallah said.

On Thursday, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that the deadly device explosions across Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday, killing at least 37, are “an act of war and a declaration of war by Israel.”

The leader of the Shia Islamist group said that Israel “crossed all red lines” in the explosions carried out through communication devices, dealing Hezbollah “an unprecedented blow in its history.”

The events demand a re-evaluation, he said, adding that Hezbollah present its new position: “Israel has a clear technological advantage because it has the support of the United States,” he said.

The Hezbollah leader said the Zionist state’s goal was to end his organization’s support for the Palestinian people. He also reaffirmed that Hezbollah will continue to confront the Zionist forces until a ceasefire is achieved in Gaza. “This blow will not topple us or defeat us. We clearly tell the Israeli enemy that our support for Gaza will not cease until the war there ends.”

On Thursday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan denounced that Israel has started to “escalate the attacks step by step towards Lebanon,” and the escalation in the region is worrying.

“We have reached a point where the Israeli operation is becoming more and more provocative, and Hezbollah and Iran no longer have any option but to respond,” Fidan said, adding that the pager explosions are part of Israel’s strategy against Palestine, and it aims to “see Gaza accounts first and then shift to Lebanon.”

The Turkish FM spoke with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati after the explosions in Lebanon and offered Türkiye’s medical support if needed. Lebanese officials reported that explosions targeting pagers and handheld radios killed at least 37 people and injured over 2,931 others on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Previously, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that Israel has entered a “new phase” in its conflict with Hezbollah. So far, no Israeli officials have claimed responsibility for the pager explosions.
