Lebanon: Hezbollah Repels Further Advance of Israeli Forces

On the eve of the attack, Hezbollah carried out an artillery operation against the concentration of Israeli forces in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Lebanese resistance Hezbollah reported on Thursday that it repelled a further advance of Israeli forces through a border crossing in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah indicated that its fighters fired artillery at the Israeli forces attempting to advance on the Fatima gate, one day after Israel reported the death of eight of its soldiers in fighting in southern Lebanon.
On the eve of the attack, Hezbollah carried out an artillery operation against the concentration of Israeli forces in the northern Gaza Strip.
Hezbollah reported that its fighters attacked a group of Israeli soldiers in the Hanita settlement, located in western Galilee, Israel.
According to the note, the Lebanese Resistance carried out this military operation in support of the Palestinians and the Resistance in the Gaza Strip and the Lebanese people.
The Yemeni Armed Forces on Thursday claimed a new drone strike against Tel Aviv, which «successfully achieved its goal», and reaffirmed that they will continue their actions until Israel ends its attacks against Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
Hutus military spokesman Yahya Sarea said in a statement that the operation against Israel was carried out with Yafa type drones and assured that the military action «successfully achieved their objectives, as the drones reached their targets without the enemy being able to face them or shoot them down».
The Israeli Armed Forces announced that they detected on Thursday about 25 projectiles and two drones launched from Lebanon into northern Israel, some of which were intercepted while the rest made impact.
In a statement, the Israeli forces detailed that two drones crossed from Lebanon in recent hours. One was intercepted off the coast of Nahariya town and the other fell into an open area, without causing any injuries.
They also indicated that 25 shells were fired at the area of upper Galilee, sounding anti-aircraft alarms.
It was also reported that on this day 15 Hizbullah fighters were killed in a night bombing against one of the positions in southern Lebanon.
«We eliminated about fifteen Hizbollah terrorists» in a bombing of «the building of the town hall of Bint Jbeil», where «large quantities of Hizbollah weapons were stored», said the army in a statement.
