The Islamic Resistance Movement of Lebanon, Hizbollah, has arranged for an impressive funeral for Hizbollah leaders, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, which is expected to be attended by thousands of people from all around the world.

The deputy chairman of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, Sheikh Ali Daamouch, called for the widest possible participation in next Sunday’s funeral procession of martyrs, urging that it be an exceptional and unifying event.

For his part, Sheikh Daamouch stressed the importance of the next day as a moment of loyalty and homage to the martyrs, urging the population to demonstrate in the streets to affirm the continuity of the Resistance against the Zionist enemy.

The funeral of two leaders who symbolize resistance against the Zionist project will be called to attend, with the assistance of movements such as Amal and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party.

The Supreme Funeral Committee announced preparations to receive crowds on Sunday, with an official program beginning at 1PM in Beirut, including a procession that will culminate near a shrine.

More than 70 countries, including official and popular delegations, and a hundred media will witness the Lebanese tribute to Nasrallah and Safieddine under the motto “Faithful to commitment”.

The leader Hasan Nasrallah was killed on 27 September when the Israeli air force dropped more than 80 bombs on the main Hizbullah operations room in south Beirut, and his successor, Hashem Safieddine, was also killed in an Israeli airstrike on a suburb of Beirut a few days later, and will be buried in his hometown in southern Lebanon.
