“And fascism in Venezuela will not pass,”
President Nicolás Maduro in the Miraflores Palace, addressing the permanent mobilization of the Venezuelan people that takes place in Caracas, stated that “We have defeated the first part of the criminal fascist coup”.

“And fascism in Venezuela will not pass,” said the president, while urging the strengthening of union and popular mobilization. “I’m going to protect the people,” he said.
“I am here for you and I admire the courage of the people. Long live the victory of July 28. Long live the homeland, long live Venezuela,” he said.
“The good news is that the electoral board has decided to accept the appeal, to get involved in the process by asking for all 10 candidates to stand. I will be there. I hope all the candidates will attend. Who won’t?” he said.
The president said that all parties should submit their minutes. “We have all the minutes. Let the Tribunal and the NEC determine everything”, he reiterated.
“I said it in different ways, I went to over 300 cities. When I said this, I saw it in your eyes. I am a town and I know how to read your ostro because I am a town. I told you that you want the guarimba back. They do. You want some fascist criminals to come”.
