The leftist politician has managed to capture 52.9% of the voting intentions, while President Noboa only reaches 45.2%.
On Wednesday, the company TresPuntoZero published a poll showing that Citizen Revolution candidate Luisa Gonzalez is leading voter preferences just three days before the campaign begins for the second round of the presidential elections, which will take place on April 13.

The survey covered 1,500 people who were interviewed digitally between March 9 and 12. Its results show that Gonzalez has 52.9 percent support, while Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa has 45.2 percent.
Additionally, the poll revealed that 53.1 percent of respondents would never vote for Noboa, compared to 41.5 percent who would never vote for Gonzalez.
TresPuntoZero also asked citizens about issues related to the economy, opportunities, security, international integration, and transparency. In all these areas, public perceptions are more favorable toward the Citizen Revolution leader.
The survey shows that the majority of citizens believe that the Noboa administration has not properly invested the revenue obtained from the increase in the Value Added Tax (VAT) and has also failed to win the so-called “Internal Armed Conflict” against criminal gangs, which were declared “terrorist groups.”
The public also maintains a highly critical stance regarding “the Malvinas Children,” which refers to a case of forced disappearance and extrajudicial execution allegedly involving members of the Armed Forces.
Next Sunday, Gonzalez and Noboa will participate in a presidential debate in which they will present their proposals on education, health, social security, crime, security, the economy, and governance.
Over 13.5 million Ecuadorians are eligible to vote in the April presidential elections. The winner will take office in May and serve until 2029.
