Tens of thousands of people gathered in Sa’ada, a northwestern province of Yemen, to show solidarity with the Palestinian people and oppose the Gaza displacement plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Protests occurred across various districts and regions, including Majz, Ghamr, al-Dhaher, Baqim, Kitaf wa al-Boqe’e, al-Hashwah, Monabbih, and Qatabir.

According to Yemeni television channel al-Masirah, demonstrators waved Palestinian and Yemeni flags, chanting slogans against the Gaza displacement plan and in support of the Ansarullah movement and other forces of the Axis of Resistance. Protesters emphasized that they do not fear the U.S. or Israel and would not allow the plan to succeed.

During a mass gathering in Sa’ada’s capital, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, addressed President Trump, declaring that military power and support for Israel would not force Palestinians to abandon their homeland.

Al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen’s support for Palestine, warning that the U.S. would face Yemen’s military power if it pursued the displacement plan. He stated, “The missiles and forces they sent to Palestinian territories will fail to displace the people of Gaza. Their declarations will not come to fruition, and they will not sway Yemen from its stance.”

He also referenced the collision of the USS Harry S. Truman with a merchant vessel in the Mediterranean Sea, describing it as a sign of U.S. Navy anxiety amid tensions with Yemeni armed forces.

Al-Houthi emphasized that all options are on the table and that Yemeni armed forces are fully prepared for any possible scenario. He warned that Yemen would intervene militarily if U.S. and Israeli forces attempted to enforce the Gaza displacement plan or if they collaborated with Arab regimes to implement it.
