“I will dedicate myself to the service of the people, to the honor of the country, to propagate religion and morality, and in support of truth and justice,” Pezeshkian declared.

The ceremony began with a speech by the President of the Parliament, Mohamad Baqer Qalibaf, He stressed that the elections in which Pezeshkian was elected were held in a calm atmosphere, which he said was a sign of stability in the country.
