In an event that reinforces the brotherhood and cooperation between both nations, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum today received the credentials of the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Stella Lugo.

 This meeting is part of a statement issued by Venezuela’s Foreign Minister, Yvan Gil, who highlighted the importance of the event in strengthening diplomatic ties and promoting dialogue between the two countries.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Lugo conveyed a message from Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, expressing his willingness to “strengthen cooperation and dialogue between Mexico and Venezuela.” The message also included “recognition of President Sheinbaum for her leadership and determination in guiding her nation.”

In response, President Sheinbaum expressed a message of “fraternity and solidarity toward the government and people of Venezuela,” reaffirming Mexico’s commitment to “unity and development in the Latin American and Caribbean region.” These statements, quoted in Yvan Gil’s communiqué, reflect the spirit of collaboration and mutual respect that characterizes the relationship between the two nations.
