Middle East Condemn and Lament Elimination of Hamas Leader

Thousands of people have marched in Tunisia, Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco and Turkey.

Thousands of people took to the streets of Tunisia on Wednesday to condemn the assassination of the Palestinian resistance leader, Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, and in support of that nation which is permanently attacked by Israel since last 7th October.

In the capital of the African country, demonstrators condemned the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, carrying Palestinian and Tunisian flags, as well as signs disapproving of the occupation.

They also called on the international community to honour its commitments and to force the Israeli occupation to contain the attacks in the Gaza Strip, open the Rafah crossing and allow aid to enter.

Demonstrations were also reported denouncing the assassination of Commander Ismail Haniyeh in the city of Adhamiyah in Iraq and in the village of Madama, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.

The Jordanians marched to the Israeli embassy in Amman to condemn the assassination of the head of Hamas. Similarly, in the Moroccan city of Casablanca, hundreds of people took to the streets to condemn the murder.

In the Democracy Square, in the centre of Gaziantep, Türkiye, a mass march and a funeral prayer for the souls of the leader Ismail Haniyeh was held, his assistant and all the Palestinian martyrs.

The leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, offers his condolences for the martyrdom of the great leader Ismail Haniyeh and the commander of the Resistance of Lebanon, Fouad Shuk.
