In the framework of the Second National Popular Consultation with Communes and international observers, the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, did not spare words to describe what In his view, it is a dangerous drift in Argentine politics under the Milei administration.

«Neoliberalism, savage capitalism, wants to destroy the national state and constitute a state of misery, a colonial state», Maduro stated vehemently.

In his analysis, the Venezuelan president explained that this transformation initiated in Argentina seeks to dismantle the very foundations of the country’s sovereignty, handing over control of natural and strategic resources to foreign powers.

«Milei is building a colonial state, he is surrendering Argentina to imperialism, to Elon Musk and to Zionism», Maduro said.

These words mark a clear stance of the Venezuelan government in the face of policies that, according to him, are being implemented in Argentina, with devastating consequences for the economy and the identity of the South American country.

Meanwhile, the Venezuelan head of state pointed out that Milei aims «to make sure that natural resources, oil, gas, lithium, and the Argentine land that produces food, end up in the hands of the northern potentates and Zionism».

For a re-elected president, this is a clear indication that Argentina is being subjected to a process of economic and cultural colonization, which destroys the concept of state, government, and social rights.

The Venezuelan president also warned about the consequences that these policies can have on Argentine society, highlighting the erosion of key institutions such as education and science.

«They are destroying public education, destroying science and technology, destroying cultural identity», he said.

He stressed that this systematic attack is being supported and reinforced by a hegemonic control of public opinion through social networks, which he described as a tool for saturation and poisoning the population with hatred and revenge.

However, the Venezuelan leader also expressed his confidence that the Argentine people will find a way to resist this process.

«I am sure that the Argentina of Perón, Evita, Nestor, José de San Martín and Diego Armando Maradona will give a surprise to Milei, sooner rather than later», Maduro said, suggesting that Argentine history and identity will rise up against what he sees as a project of national subjugation.

In contrast to the situation in Argentina, Maduro presented the Venezuelan experience as an example of resistance and building a strong and sovereign state: «While they are trying to install a colonial state, dependent and of misery, we are in the advanced stage of construction of a direct democracy, a popular democracy».
