“The Israeli occupation army intensified its bombing of houses in the northern Gaza Strip, today shelling a house that housed displaced persons,” the organization said in a statement.
The attack occurred in the area of Tal Al Zaatar, north of Gaza, and according to the rescuers of the Civil Defence there are still victims under the rubble, due to the impossibility of mobilizing ambulances because of insecurity.
Northern Gaza, including Jabalia and its refugee camps, as well as Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, has been under Israeli military siege for 58 days, resulting in approximately 2,700 deaths and more than 10,000 injuries, according to the Gaza Civil Defense.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, in recent bombings in Jabalia, around 70 people have been killed and dozens remain trapped under the rubble.
Several Palestinians were killed and others wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of civilians in Jabalia, north of Gaza. According to medical sources, at least three Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in the shelling of Israeli warplanes in this locality.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,363 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 105,070 others injured.
