The Emergency Operations Centre at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health confirmed the deaths of two persons as a result of an attack by the “Israeli enemy”, without providing details on the identity of the victims or their possible affiliation to any armed group.

According to local media the missiles were fired by a drone and targeted, in particular, the area of Aabra.

Most targeted bombing is usually directed at members of the Lebanese Resistance group Hezbollah, although sometimes they are also directed against other warring factions such as the local branch of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas.

However, some Israeli attacks have also caused massacres of civilians, such as the one that this weekend killed ten Syrian citizens at a cement factory in Toul al-Kfour (south), mostly family members of the owner and among them his two youngest children.
