In Deir al-Balah, a city in the central Gaza Strip, hundreds of people were seeking food aid. A woman and two girls died of suffocation while searching for bread in front of a bakery.

Rescue teams from Gaza’s Civil Defense recovered three bodies and five injured individuals following an Israeli attack on a home in Gaza City.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that one person was killed and several others injured in another airstrike in the devastated Zaytoun neighborhood of the city.

Additionally, four people were killed when the shelters where they had taken refuge near Abu Matar Mosque in Al Mawasi, Khan Younis, were targeted in an airstrike. Five more Gazans lost their lives in the bombing of a family home in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Over the past 24 hours, Gaza’s Health Ministry recorded the deaths of 48 Palestinians. Since the beginning of the offensive against Gaza in October 2023, Israeli occupation forces have killed 44,330 Palestinians and injured more than 104,900 others.

“The second year of genocide in Gaza has drawn growing international condemnation, with officials and institutions labeling the attacks and blocking of aid deliveries as a deliberate attempt to destroy a population,” news agency AA comented.
