Two people killed and more than 100 wounded were the balance left by the Bangladeshi police forces in the new outbreak of protests against the quota system that reserves 30 percent of the government jobs for veterans’ families.

Similarly, the wave of protests last month that left more than 200 people killed was resumed this Friday, The Ministry of Education and Science has been working on a number of projects in the field of education.
In this sense, more than 2,000 demonstrators gathered in some parts of the capital, Dhaka, to protest against the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and demanding justice for the victims.
The forces of repression fired tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the congregants, while dozens of students faced this context in the Uttara neighborhood of Dhaka.
According to local media, 50 people were injured in the southwestern district of Khulna, where police fired tear gas and rubber bullets, while one policeman was killed.
The students consider this system discriminatory, as it benefits the allies of the ruling party.
Last month, authorities cut off internet and mobile phone services as well as news channels.
Student demonstrations forced the state to make a reduction from 56 percent to 7 percent, including 5 percent for descendants of war veterans. Local platforms said that from 17 to 26 July, more than 6,200 people have been arrested in 555 cases.
