Almost two minutes later, Goretzka made his second goal as he raced onto Timo Werner's through ball and shot it into the far corner.

Timo Werner, the 21-year-old FC Leipzig forward, scored a goal for Germany in the 59th minute.

In the 89th minute, Mexican midfielder Marco Fabian scored a 35-yard goal. Moments later, however, Amin Younes added a fourth goal for Germany in the first minute of stoppage time.
