In a separate event, 135 other people were killed at a different wedding by the Saudi-led airstrikes. About 2,300 civilians have been killed since March.

Saudi-led warplanes struck a wedding ceremony in Yemen Thursday killing at least 30 people and leaving dozens injured in the western province of Dhamar, local press reported on Thursday.

It's not the first time that the Saudi aircraft hit a wedding ceremony. In late September, fighter jets struck a ceremony killing more than 135 people, many of them women and children, and injuring dozens of others.

Officials said local hospitals have been overwhelmed with victims. The area where the attack occurred is controlled by Houthi rebels, who played a prominent role during the ousting of dictator Ali Abdullah Saleh in 2011.

In yet another recent airstrike, Saudi Arabian warplanes killed eight civilians.

About 2,300 civilians have reportedly lost their lives in the Saudi airstrikes, and nearly 14,000 have been injured since March 26, when Saudi Arabia and 10 of its Middle East allies began their offensive in Yemen with over 100 warplanes and 150,000 troops.
