Olympics: Cuban Freestyle Fighter Milaimys Marin Wins Bronze

This is the second Olympic medal for a Cuban athlete in this discipline in the history of the Olympic Games.
With a clear 6-0 in the last match of the repesca, the Cuban wrestler Milaimy Marín, 23 years old, today beat her Kyrgyz counterpart Aiperi Medet Kyzy (runner-up of the 2023 World Cup), to win the bronze medal in the 76 kg category, during the final day of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
