The situation in the Gaza Strip has become increasingly critical, with reports indicating that 77 people have been killed and 174 injured in a single day due to heavy Israeli shelling. The scale of the humanitarian tragedy worsens with each new attack, leaving civilians trapped in a cycle of violence and suffering and despite growing international pressure to achieve a ceasefire, negotiations continue to face significant obstacles.

The humanitarian situation is alarming, especially with the onset of winter. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has warned that 96 percent of women and children in Gaza are unable to meet their basic nutritional needs due to shortages.
UNICEF spokesperson Rosalia Bollen stated that in November, only an average of 65 trucks of aid entered Gaza per day—a figure dramatically lower than the 500 trucks arriving daily before the outbreak of the conflict.
The urgent need for a ceasefire and humanitarian assistance is becoming increasingly pressing as Palestinian families continue to suffer the consequences of the conflict.
