Palestinian official media, on Friday mourned the death of Palestinian radio correspondent Tamim Muammar, who was killed along with many members of his family in an Israeli airstrike on his home in Khan Younes.

The official Palestinian media stated in a press release that the attack on Palestinian journalists and their families is an integral part of the Israeli genocidal war against the Gaza Strip, and pledged that journalists and media personnel Palestinians continue to transmit the suffering of the Palestinian people in the occupied territories.
Called upon the international media and humanitarian organizations not to confine themselves to issuing generic statements of condemnation, but to take immediate steps to hold Israeli perpetrators of war crimes accountable and bring them before the International Criminal Court.
Israel has continued its genocidal offensive in the war-ravaged Gaza, ignoring the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel, by a legally binding decision, to stop its military offensive in Rafah, May violate its obligations under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
Israel has been waging a devastating war in Gaza since October 7, killing at least 39,699 Palestinians, mostly children and women, and wounding more than 91,722 others.
In addition, at least 10,000 people are missing, reportedly dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the strip.
