Palestinian Resistance Hamas “Blesses” Hezbollah’s Attack in Retaliation Against Israel

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, called this Sunday a “powerful and concentrated” reprisal attack by Hezbollah against northern Israel, after the launch of some 300 rockets and drones that have caused the death of at least one Israeli soldier.

“This strong and focused response, which struck deep inside the Zionist entity, is a slap in the face of the fascist occupation government, and a message that its terrorism and crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples will not pass without a response, and will not achieve its goals and aggressive plans,” said in a statement the Palestinian group.
In the statement published by the Palestinian resistance Hamas reiterated that this attack was in response to the Israeli assassination of Hezbollah’s top military commander, Fuad Shukr, in July and to the “aggression” in the Gaza Strip, where more than 40,400 Palestinians have been killed.
“We condemn in the strongest terms the escalation of the Zionist occupation’s brutal aggression against the sisterly Lebanese Republic, and the continuation of its brutal and criminal bombardment of the lands and civilians in Lebanon,” added the movement.
The Palestinian Islamic resistance congratulated Hezbullah for fulfilling its promise of retaliation, and said that the attack confirms that “the Zionist enemy only understands the language of force and is only deterred by the resistance’s blows.”
The Lebanese movement confirmed that it had launched over 320 rockets and drones at Israel in retaliation for the assassination of its top military commander, Fuad Shukr de Shukr on the outskirts of Beirut in late July; a reprisal that “has been completed and achieved by today”.
The Israeli army announced on Sunday that one Israeli Navy soldier was killed in the north of the country and two others were wounded during the early-morning attack by Hezbullah with hundreds of rockets and drones.
