Algerian Imane Khelif beat the Hungarian Lucca Anna Hamori by unanimous decision (5-0) in the quarterfinals of the 66-kilogram category of the boxing competition at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 and secured a medal.

Khelif, 25, clearly defeated the Hungarian fighter and came down the ring stairs crying, moved by the controversy generated after his rival’s withdrawal in quarters, The Italian Angela Carini.
