 The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, made an appeal this Saturday for unity and respect for the autonomous processes of each nation during his intervention at the plenary session of the XXIV summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Treaty on the Trade of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP), held in Caracas.

In a speech that resonated with the spirit of Latin American integration and solidarity, President Maduro urged all political actors in Latin America and the Caribbean to put aside their differences and work together toward a common future.

“I call for respect and unity among all political currents in Latin America and the Caribbean so that we can move forward in meeting and reunion,” said the president.

President Maduro stressed that it is essential to recognize the political diversity of the region, stating that “no one can believe they own the barometer of democracy and freedom.”
