At a recent working meeting with his executive cabinet, sectoral vice-presidents, and high military and police officers, Venezuela’s President, Nicolás Maduro, firmly affirmed that the country will continue its path towards prosperity in 2025.
During the meeting, President Maduro stressed that 2024 has been a significant period for the nation, stating that “what is in sight is easy to see,” and encouraging those present to recognize the progress achieved.
The president emphasized that Venezuela is moving towards a “definitive recovery” and building its own economic model that promotes prosperity with equality. “Venezuela has a homeland with conscience and values, sure of its destiny and the steps it is taking,” he said, highlighting the resilience of the Venezuelan people in the face of adversity.
President Maduro also noted that the past year saw the continuation of a process of “economic growth, social recovery, and deepening of democracy,” while what he referred to as “imperialist plans” aimed at destabilizing the country were defeated.
“We have not let ourselves be disturbed by anything; we are cured of horror,” he stated, underscoring the people’s ability to confront external campaigns that seek to divide the nation.
