‘They have deceived people and enriched themselves immensely’, he pointed out.

On Tuesday, President Nicolas Maduro denounced representatives of the far-right, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

“The far-right is divided,” he said, alluding to U.S.-backed politicians such as Juan Guaido, Leopoldo Lopez, and Henrique Capriles. “They have deceived people and enriched themselves immensely. Now, all the corruption that we have denounced year after year is coming to light,” the Venezuelan leader added.

Previously, Maduro had stated that USAID provided over US$700 million to Guaido to promote destabilizing actions against Venezuela. Currently, this far-right politician is a fugitive from justice.

During the inauguration of the 5th Congress of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Maduro pointed out that recent international events reveal that “the far-right has collapsed,” referring to Maria Corina Machado, whom he described as representing the most fascist, violent, and “traitorous” faction of this ideological tendency in Venezuela.

The text reads, “Right-winger Lilian Tintori, an ally of María Corina Machado, is accused of stealing US$256 million from USAID funds. Can you imagine if Tintori and Machado had won the elections in Venezuela? How much money would they have stolen from Venezuelans? Miserable right-wingers!

Figures from far-right youth movements, such as David Smolansky and Miguel Pizarro, who live abroad, are also corrupt and rotten. “They are highly criminal, corrupt, and deceitful people. They thrive on deception,” Maduro said, also mentioning Carlos Paparoni as one of the far-right figures who has caused the most harm to Venezuela.

Meanwhile, the Bolivarian Revolution continues to be built through the tireless efforts of the organized population in 5,334 communal circuits distributed across the country.

“And where is the revolutionary, Chavista, and Bolivarian youth? They are in factories, fields, high schools, and communes… Chavismo is stronger, more organized, and more strategic than ever, moving forward,” Maduro stressed.
