Venezuela’s president, Nicolás Maduro, accused the US FBI and the DEA of having promoted and organized the formation of criminal gangs, such as the Tren de Aragua, from Colombia, for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities in Venezuela.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), according to president Maduro, organized the Tren de Aragua from Colombia, and that there and in the US there should be “information about this” although “a good part of the main names are protected in those countries.”

On the other hand Maduro stated that the 177 Venezuelan who arrived at the airport Simón Bolívar on Friday “could not see the sun because the permanent mistreatment accusing them of being part of the Tren de Aragua when the gang “was defeated. Now they intend to build a little wave.”

In this regard, the Venezuelan head of state stressed that the “US create a whole file to justify the ambush. We are prepared for anything”, while urging the continuation of the Quadrants of Peace and preventive policies.

Meanwhile, he added that Venezuela was “dismembering and destroying this criminal group. It is very timely the activation in the whole municipality of Sucre of the quadrants”. Likewise, he stated that “we start with the new methodology”.

“We activated 90 new Peace Quadrants to protect, with new methods. Supervise a process of liberation of the people of Petares”, added the head of state, and indicated that there is a peace quadrant for each circuit.

“So that all this offensive is to free Sucre and guarantee peace and thus respect for the rights of children, girls, adolescents, their right to mental health, to education, assuring tha “with peace everything bears fruit”.
