During the broadcast of the program Maduro Live de Repente, the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, presented the “Plan Independencia Productiva Absoluta” (Absolute Productive Independence Plan), an initiative aimed at ensuring the continuity and growth of national production, particularly in the oil sector, despite the sanctions imposed by the United States that led to the departure of Chevron.

President Maduro emphasized that the country has the capacity to produce not only oil but also a variety of goods that will not be affected by external restrictions.

During his speech, President Maduro assured that economic aggressions will not halt Venezuela’s progress, stating that the country will recover and continue producing. He reiterated his commitment to growth in various areas, including industry, agriculture, and technology.

Additionally, President Maduro announced the creation of a fund equivalent to $10 million to invest in the revival of Communal Banks, as part of a broader effort to transform the country’s economy.

Regarding U.S. sanctions, he cited a survey by Hinterlaces that reveals strong popular rejection of these measures, with 91% of respondents stating that the sanctions harm both Venezuela and the United States.

President Maduro also noted that those who have called for sanctions against the country should be brought to justice for treason, reflecting a sentiment of unity and resilience among Venezuelan citizens in the face of economic adversity.
