Those who submit to the Empire are spat on, burned, used and then discarded, the Venezuelan leader stressed.
During the swearing-in ceremony held at the National Assembly, President Nicolas Maduro celebrated the Venezuelans’ victory over the U.S.-backed destabilizing conspiracy.

“We are a great historical bloc that began forming from events that changed Venezuela’s history at the end of the 20th century. We are a historical bloc that embodies a nationalist, Caribbean, and Latin Americanist ideology,” he said before an audience comprising delegations from over 120 countries.
“Our ideology was not imported from abroad but emerged from the roots of the struggles of the generations that came before us. Venezuela’s history will continue to be written with our political culture’s determination, strength, and spirituality.”
Maduro highlighted that Venezuela’s strength on the international stage is based on its diplomacy of peace, dialogue, and negotiation. However, maintaining this perspective requires continuous effort.
“Cowards are respected by no one. They are kicked, humiliated, and shattered. Those who submit to the Empire and become its slaves are like those who make a pact with the devil—they are spat upon, burned, used, and then discarded,” Maduro stated, suggesting the current situations in Canada and Panama as examples of this dangerous subordination.
“It is important to know where we stand. If we are here, it is because the Venezuelan state exercised its right to legitimate defense against a clear global communication conspiracy orchestrated by the U.S. and its Latin American satellites. They turned the Venezuelan presidential election into a global election. And we beat them!” Maduro declared.
“The Bolivarian strength defeated imperialism and its diplomacy of deception. They could not overcome us. No one will ever subdue the Venezuelan people,” he stressed.
