The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, participated this Friday in the burial ceremony of the mortal remains of Maestro Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa, held at the National Pantheon.

During the ceremony, President Maduro emphasized the importance of the maestro’s legacy as a reference for the country and a symbol of humility and commitment to the people of Margarita.

The head of state recalled the great thoughts and work of Prieto Figueroa, who left an indelible mark on Venezuelan education and culture during the 20th century.

 “Today, we welcome Maestro Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa to the National Pantheon, a place that honors those who have contributed significantly to our homeland,” said President Maduro.
