Traore denounced, “Claim of Independence granted to the African States in the 60s”, followed by the looting of Natural Resources and Terrorism.

The President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore participated in the first Conference of the Alliance of Sahel States (ESA) together with his counterparts from Mali, Colonel Assimi Goïta, and from Niger, General Abdourahamane Tiani.

During the Conference, the three heads of State of the Sahel will confirm their will to bring together the States of the continent and their determination to continue the Path adopted within the framework of the Alliance of Sahelian States.

For his part, the President of the Republic of Mali, Colonel Assimi Goïta, highlighted the synergy of action among the armies of the three countries in the fight against armed terrorist groups, which produces tangible results.

The Malian President announced the implementation of innovative and effective actions in the sectors of transport, economy, communication, culture and mining, for the benefit of the “AES people”.

Also, the President of Niger, General Abdourahamane Tiani, highlighted the “Ferocious decision” of the AES States to recover the sovereignty of the Sahel States, in turn fighting terrorism, banditry, poverty and violence.
