On Friday, the International Platform for Solidarity with the Palestinian Cause protested outside the European Union headquarters in Caracas, demanding that the European countries sever relations with Israel.

“We believe it is important that the European Union understands that the governments of the European Union must break relations with Israel—diplomatic relations, economic relations, cultural and sports relations,” said Hindu Anderi, the coordinator of the platform.
“The situation in Palestine is the shame of humanity,” she added, warning that Zionism aims to affect the majority of peoples around the world.
“Zionism is not only in occupied Palestine. Zionism is not only rooted in Israel. Zionism is the economic, political, and military power behind the fascism advancing across the planet,” Anderi said.
For this reason, Anderi will ask the Venezuelan National Assembly to include Zionism in the anti-fascism bill that Bolivarian legislators are discussing.
“If Zionism succeeds in Palestine, let’s not doubt that it will move on to other peoples, and we cannot allow that. At this moment, the fight for the right to exist is being waged in Palestine,” she emphasized.
On Friday, Israeli occupation forces cut off communications in northern Gaza, where, since October 2023, Zionist soldiers have been conducting a military offensive that has caused more than 42,000 deaths so far.
In early October, Israel intensified ground and air attacks against northern Gaza and Jabalia, claiming that Hamas members were attempting to regroup in those areas.
