PSUV Vice President Meets With International Delegations to the Elections of 28J

The vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that the elections in his country are not organized by the Southern Command, the State Department, the OAS or the big corporations or media, but the Venezuelan state through the National Electoral Council.

During a meeting with international escorts to the presidential elections of 28J, in Caracas, the revolutionary leader recalled that this election is preceded by a process of violence, first with the protests organized by the extreme right, interrupted by the call to the Constituent Assembly made by President Nicolás Maduro.

He pointed out that the violence imposed from outside, through the brutal attack of US and European imperialism against the homeland of Bolivar and Chavez, followed, with 930 sanctions to starve the country, when out of every hundred dollars of income the Venezuelan state received only one.

They wanted to suffocate the Venezuelan people, but this people decided not to surrender. It decided to be free, said Cabello.

welcomed the international observers and emphasized “Tell the world what you are going to see here and we will deeply appreciate that you are able to be the spokespersons for Venezuela in the world.“

He celebrated the presence of the escorts in the South American country. You are here in Venezuela and no one can tell you a story of this process, which is in accordance with the Constitution and the will of the people. We are proud that the world has its eyes on our electoral process.

Here, the elections are not organized by the Southern Command, nor by the State Department, nor by the OAS, nor by large corporations or media. The Venezuelan state organizes them through the National Electoral Council, stressed the vice president of the PSUV.
